Position: Financial Analyst

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide budget planning support, including attending and documenting results/action items from approximately 25 meetings per year.
  • Assist in developing and implementing best practices (averaging 5 per year, 3-5 pages each) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) (averaging 5 per year, 10 pages each).
  • Support the budget formulation process, including contributions to the Resource Allocation Plan (RAP).
  • Help develop scenarios and appeals for the Resource Allocation Decision (RAD).
  • Contribute to Budget Justifications, including financial tables and exhibits.
  • Update spreadsheets for Capital Investment Plans (CIPs) and maintain financial data.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining spend plans with estimates, justifications, and analysis.
  • Prepare, analyze, and monitor financial data for accuracy.
  • Support the creation of weekly and monthly reports for internal TSA use.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
  • Experience in budget analysis or financial support, preferably in a government or public sector environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data management and analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team setting.
  • Willingness to learn federal budget processes and contribute to program support tasks.

  • $85,000.00
